Alon co-founded Liberty Partners (formerly Liberty Search Ventures) in 2019. Prior to co-founding Liberty Partners, Alon worked together with Danny and Joe on growing Liberty One Group’s ancillary real estate service businesses, the subsequent buildout of Liberty Partners’ healthcare ventures, and led sourcing and acquisition efforts for Liberty One Group’s operating businesses. Alon took a lead role in overseeing M&A at Liberty’s healthcare ventures and serving on the board of Prosperity Behavioral Health until its sale to NewSpring Capital.
Prior to joining Liberty, Alon co-founded a startup in the HR technology space. Alon was formerly an Analyst at Viola Ventures, a Venture Capital firm focused on technology companies in the Middle East. Alon began his career as an Associate at Citigroup in New York. Alon is actively engaged with Liberty Partners’ Operators-in-Residence, search entrepreneurs and portfolio company CEO’s, offering insights from his broad experience in sourcing, acquiring, financing, and growing small businesses.
Alon holds a B.A. degree in Philosophy from Yeshiva University. He serves as a board observer at Marine Specialties, Inc. and is a member of Liberty’s investment committee.
Danny co-founded Liberty Partners (formerly Liberty Search Ventures) in 2019. Danny has spent his entire career with Liberty One Group, having gotten his first taste of real estate investing in college before becoming a founding member of Liberty One Group. Since then, Danny has assumed a leadership role in origination, structuring, and management of their real estate portfolio, with a proven ability to identify value in real estate acquisitions. Additionally, Danny was a key part of the original operations that helped to grow and scale Liberty One Group’s construction, maintenance, and pest control businesses, which now collectively have over 400 employees. These operating businesses have been successfully transitioned to full-time active management teams.
In addition to Liberty One Group’s real estate operations and ancillary service businesses, Danny also led the effort in seeding multiple healthcare ventures in which Liberty Partners was the sole sponsor until their sale. These concerns include home health agencies, revenue cycle management businesses, and addiction treatment centers, among others. Danny is actively engaged with searchers and portfolio companies, offering his expertise, guidance, and sharing best practices.
Danny graduated from Yeshiva University with a B.A. in History. He is a member of Liberty’s investment committee and serves as a board member for PacWest Mechanical and Echo Point Books & Media.
Joe co-founded Liberty Partners (formerly Liberty Search Ventures) in 2019. Since 2007, Joe has been an integral part of starting, operating, and scaling Liberty One Group’s maintenance, construction, and pest control affiliates, where he began by taking an active role in day-to-day operations before eventually handing over management to a CEO while continuing to serve on the board of directors of those businesses. Joe’s efforts have catapulted Liberty One Group’s maintenance business from only a handful of employees to over 350 employees today.
In 2018, Joe spearheaded Liberty’s first inpatient addiction treatment center and has since built two more locations. In 2020, Joe began building plasma donation clinics, with multiple locations in the New York Metro area and Florida. Joe’s role within Liberty Partners is primarily in the operating phase of our portfolio companies.
Joe has a Bachelors from Chaim Berlin Seminary and currently serves as a member of the school’s Board of Directors. Joe is also a member of Liberty’s investment committee, head of investor relations, and serves on the board of directors for Raiz Landscaping.
Dan joined Liberty Partners in July 2021. Prior to joining Liberty, Dan was an associate at Angelo Gordon & Co., and CoreCommodity Management LLC, working in their back-office as an accountant and analyst and building his skill set in the alternative investment space for both public and private securities across multiple asset classes. Dan began his career as a consultant and forensic accountant at BDO USA, LLP, working on post-acquisition disputes for lower middle market private equity transactions and conducting investigative due diligence into individuals and businesses.
At Liberty, Dan leads the firm’s due diligence and searcher recruiting processes and oversees the day-to-day activity of the Operator-in-Residence program. He is actively engaged with Liberty’s Operators-in-Residence, search entrepreneurs and portfolio company CEO’s in all phases from sourcing, diligence, acquisition and operating.
Dan holds a B.S. in Accounting from Yeshiva University, is a licensed CPA, and has completed Levels I & II of the CFA exam. Dan currently serves as a board observer for Echo Point Books & Media and Raiz Landscaping.
Aakash has a background in investment banking, M&A, and financial analysis with a track record of successfully advising on over a dozen exits during his time at Edgemont Capital Partners, covering the healthcare industry, and FE International, covering the SaaS sector. Aakash brings a diversified knowledge base spanning multiple industries through his roles in accounting and operations at LEK Securities Corporation and EY.
Aakash holds a BS from Lehigh University with a double major in Finance and Accounting. He is also a licensed CPA, has completed Levels I & II of the CFA, and possesses Series 7, 27, 63 & 79 licensures.
Aryeh has been with Liberty since 2016 and brings deep experience in overseeing the execution and operations of key investment projects over the last decade. Aryeh is responsible for managing our fund operations, overseeing accounting and financial reporting, tax matters, and investor reporting. Prior to joining Liberty, Aryeh spent the first few years of his career at Deloitte as a consultant to Private Equity firms such as Blackstone and KKR and was involved in one of the largest REIT IPOs in U.S. history. Aryeh has a bachelor of science degree in accounting from Touro University and is a licensed CPA.
Dan has over a decade of experience supporting startups, Fortune 50 corporations, and professional services firms in advancing their goals within the healthcare and financial services industries. He has excelled in launching businesses in new markets, navigating complex sell-side and buy-side transactions, and operating small businesses. Most recently, Dan led a successful sell-side engagement to transition an independently operated accounting firm to Citrin Cooperman. Previously, as Vice President at Discover Health, he supported the company’s acquisition strategy and ran Northeast operations. Dan earned his Bachelor of Science degree from Vanderbilt University and an MBA from The Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania.
Martin is the CEO of Raiz Landscaping Partners. He has deep experience in M&A transactions in both South and North America. He started his career as an investment banker at J.P. Morgan and as an Associate in LMM private equity firm Pegasus Capital in Buenos Aires, Argentina. After moving to the United States, Martin joined Crete Mechanical, an HVAC, electrical, and plumbing company, as their Vice President of Business Development. At Crete he executed 35 acquisitions over a 3 year period and was instrumental in building the platform into what it is today. Martin received his bachelor of science in economics and a masters in finance from the Universidad Torcuato Di Tella in Buenos Aires, Argentina and an MBA from Columbia Business School.
